      Participated in 2013 mochi-tsuki (rice-cake pounding) event organized by the Nampeidai-cho neighborhood association in Tokyo’s Shibuya Ward

    As part of its CSR (social contribution) activities, Fields participated in a mochi-tsuki event held on December 23, 2013, a national holiday. The event was organized by the Nampeidai-cho neighborhood association in Shibuya Ward.
    This year, 6 volunteers from Fields and its partner enterprises participated, helping to pound the mochi and provide operational support.
    Fields will continue to implement a variety of activities that contribute to local communities.

      [Group CSR] “Ultraman Ginga” chosen as mascots for Metropolitan Police Department’s “2013 Year-End Regional Safety Initiative”

    Tsuburaya Productions Co., Ltd.’s “Ultraman Ginga” characters were chosen as the mascots for the Metropolitan Police Department’s “2013 Year-End Regional Safety Initiative.”
    Through its official web site, the Police Department ran the initiative December 1 to 31 with the slogan “At the end of the year, let’s work together to keep our town safe.” Appearing in posters and elsewhere, the Ultraman Ginga characters helped to spread the message to metropolitan citizens.
    The Fields Group will continue to implement a variety of activities through our business activities to contribute to local communities and protect the environment.

    The characters from Kazuhiko Shimamoto’s comic “HERO COMPANY” (carried in “HERO’S Monthly” by HERO’S INC.) were chosen as the mascots for the Metropolitan Police Department’s campaign “Stop! Shoplifting Prevention Measures” posters. The Police Department ran the campaign on its official web site to create social and community bonds and raise awareness of social norms under the slogan “Do not shoplift, do not let others shoplift, and do not overlook shoplifting.” About 5,000 awareness-raising posters featuring the characters were posted at 98 police offices and public facilities in Tokyo. In addition, about 50,000 leaflets were distributed to spread the message to Tokyo citizens.
    The Fields Group will continue to implement a variety of activities through our business activities to contribute to local communities and protect the environment.

      Collecting PET bottle caps and used stamps

    Fields employees with a strong sense of volunteerism have previously initiated grass-roots campaigns to collect PET bottle caps and used stamps. To increase the good they are doing, Fields is taking their effort Company-wide.
    The PET bottle caps and used stamps that we collect are used to support international medical care (in the form of vaccines), lifestyle improvements and education through various non-profit organizations.
    Fields will continue to implement a variety of activities that contribute to local communities and protect the environment.

      Staff at branch offices throughout Japan participate in community activities

    Staff at Fields branch offices throughout Japan are actively participating in activities of various regions and groups as part of our CSR (corporate social responsibility) initiatives.
    Fields will continue to implement a variety of activities that contribute to local communities and protect the environment.

    Sendai We participated in cleaning up rubble along the coast in an event sponsored by the KAIDOU-YUSHO Cooperative (pachinko/pachislot machine cooperative) and TOHOKU-YUSHO Cooperative.
    Sapporo We participated in a Susukino clean-up sponsored by HOKKAIDO-YUSHO Cooperative.
    Osaka We participated in the “Miraikko Carnival (Carnival for kids in the future)”, a Christmas event held for children from foster homes, etc., sponsored by the youth section of the Osaka Prefecture gaming industry federation.
    We participated in the “Great East Japan Earthquake Recovery Support Volunteer” project sponsored by KANSAI-YUSHO Cooperative.
    We have participated continuously for 10 years in the “Tanabata Blood Drive” sponsored by KANSAI-YUSHO Cooperative.
    Kobe We participated in the “Heartful Fund Festa”, an event which provides a forum for disabled and able-bodied people to connect, sponsored by the youth section of the Hyogo Prefecture Gaming Industry Federation.
    Fukuoka We cooperated with a blood drive together with volunteers from KYUSYU-YUSHO Cooperative.
    Kagoshima We participated in parking lot patrols and community crime-prevention activities together with volunteers from KYUSYU-YUSHO Cooperative.

      Chosen by Nikko Investor Relations Co., Ltd. for “Best Site”

    Fields’s IR site was chosen as the “Best Site” in Nikko Investor Relations Co., Ltd.’s “Fiscal 2013 Adequacy Ranking of All Listed Company Homepages” (selected for comprehensive ranking for the 6th straight year, No. 1 in the emerging market ranking for the 4th straight year, and No. 1 in the industry ranking for the 3rd straight year).

    The ranking covered the homepages of 3,556 domestically listed companies in its fiscal 2013 survey and ranked them according to 148 objective criteria based on 3 focus points: “ease of understanding,” “ease of use” and “information quantity”, and adopted as one of its indicators the “degree of information disclosure and Web adequacy” in the Nikkei Digital Media, Inc. “NEEDS-Cges” (Corporate governance evaluation system).

    Fields will continue to enhance its IR activities and endeavor to create a forum for information delivery and communication that will better support shareholders and investors.

      Chosen by Daiwa Investor Relations Co., Ltd. for the “2013 Internet IR Superior Company Award”

    Field’s IR site was chosen for the “2013 Internet IR Superior Company Award” in Daiwa Investor Relations Co., Ltd.’s “2013 Internet IR Best Company Award Grand Prix (1 firm), Best Company Award (7 firms), Award for Excellence (25 firms) and Superior Company Award (146 firms). ”

    The IR sites (English and Japanese) on the homepages of all exchange-listed companies (3,602 companies) were eligible for the 4 awards. Based on the criteria of “5T&C” (Timeliness, Transparency, Traceability, Trustworthiness, Totality and Communication), the primary screening was carried out on basic topics focusing on Internet media attributes, and 1,469 companies were selected for the secondary screening.

    Fields will continue to enhance its IR activities and endeavor to create a forum for information delivery and communication that will better support shareholders and investors.

      Participated in “Be Smile Project” of a non-profit organization conducting volunteer activities using comic to connect children living in child welfare facilities to their communities

    ields supports the “Be Smile Project” initiative of a non-profit organization conducting volunteer activities that utilize comic to connect children living in child welfare facilities to their communities. Our staff, accompanied by popular catoonist, visited a facility in Nagasaki Prefecture. They drew a group picture together with the children and helped to lift their spirits.
    Fields will continue to implement a variety of activities that contribute to local communities and protect the environment.

    Fields and several group companies established the Ultraman Foundation in March 2011 to provide support for the recovery of areas devastated by the Great East Japan Earthquake. The foundation has been continuously extending assistance in the form of materials and encouragement to children affected by this disaster.
    The “HERO CARAVAN: Lightening the Hearts of Children in 78 Places in Tohoku” begun in March 2013 has traveled to 39 childcare centers, kindergartens, volunteer centers, and other sites as of September 2013.
    Tsuburaya Production’s heroes visited with children, who felt reassured by the chance to interact directly with their heroes. The purpose of these events is to give children a fun time that lets them talk openly about their dreams for the future.

      Participated in the “Cleanup Campaign at Kugenuma Beach” sponsored by JEAN (Japan Environmental Action Network)

    As part of its CSR activity, Fields participated in this event on September 22, 2013.
    Fields has participated continuously since 2010 and over 16 volunteers, including families and friends of employees, took part, conducting beach cleaning and sorting of collected refuse for this time.
    Going forward, Fields will continuously undertake a variety of measures linked to local society contributions and environmental protection.

      Participated in cleanup activities once a month in Shibuya’s Nampeidai-cho neighborhood

    Since March 2013, we have carried out cleanup activities every month in Nampeidai-cho in Shibuya, Tokyo, where our Head Office is located, as part of CSR (corporate social responsibility) activities.
    In the first half of the year ending March 31, 2014, over 110 employee volunteers cumulatively participated, cleaning up around the Nampeidai-cho area, primarily around the Head Office.
    Going forward, Fields will continuously undertake a variety of measures linked to local society contributions and environmental protection.

      Participated in “The Union beautification day at Shibuya Station,” sponsored by the Shibuya Ward Beautification Promotion Committee

    Fields regularly participates in “The Union beautification day at Shibuya Station,” sponsored by the Shibuya Ward Beautification Promotion Committee, in the Shibuya-ku of Tokyo where our Head Office is located.
    More than 40 employee volunteers took part in events held in the first half of the year ending March 31, 2014 (June, July and September). Clean-ups took place primarily in focus areas, such as around Shibuya Station.
    Fields will continue to implement a variety of activities that contribute to local communities and protect the environment.

    Fields is creating a framework for the medium- to long-term development of human resources. This will allow the employees who are the source of our sustained growth to make full use of their talents and work with pride.
    To give one example, we are building an infrastructure that will allow all management and employees to communicate as equals, overcoming barriers of time, distance, position, or generation. Under this framework, people with different perspectives will create greater awareness through sharing of new project concepts and ideas. With lively, creative communication like this, we hope to effectively draw out the strengths of all types of human resources, boost employee motivation, create new entertainment, and establish a competitive advantage on the market.
    Fields will continue to value staff input to ensure that each employee can work each day with a sense of reassurance and fulfillment.

      Maintained ISO 27001:2005 certification for information security management system

    In August 2007, Fields obtained the international standard ISO/IEC 27001:2005 and the domestic standard JIS Q 27001:2006 certifications for its information security management system. These same standard certifications were maintained in July 2013.
    Going forward, as we pursue additional measures to improve the system, every employee will act with a keen awareness of the importance of information security to earn the trust of society and our customers.

      Strengthening compliance Group-wide

    Fields is working to promote legal compliance as well as a strong sense of ethics and moral consciousness by providing group training as well as online learning through our intranet.
    Until now, we have provided compliance training for our Group companies primarily through group training. However, we implemented an online learning system in July 2013 as we seek to improve the instructional environment.
    Fields will continue working to diversify and enrich activities with the aim of firmly establishing compliance awareness Group-wide and ensuring that our business activities are conducted appropriately and in accordance with laws and regulations.

      Promotion of energy conservation measures ("Cool Biz" accommodation)

    Fields conducted continuous energy conservation programs during the summer (May to October 2011 and 2012) and the following winter (November 2011 to March 2012 and November 2012 to March 2013).

    In the summer of 2013, we are implementing numerous measures to save electricity between May 7 and October 31, which has been designated the "Cool Biz" period. Activities cover the operation of air conditioning systems, various types of facilities and office equipment, the use of lightweight summer clothing, and other items. Starting on May 14, all employees have been receiving official "Cool Biz" shirts from the company just as in the summer of 2011 and 2012.
    As with the usual suits, we will prescribe the shirts for normal attire for the summer season, jointly with "Super Cool Biz." With these steps we are seeking all-around power conservation cooperation and raising employee awareness, and for customers as well are requesting their understanding.

    Fields participates in many types of activities to contribute to society. One way is by making donations through cooperation in various sports activities, including support provided by the Ultraman Foundation.
    We extended support for The Legend Charity Pro-Am Tournament, which took place over two days starting on May 11, 2013. We also cooperated with this tournament in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. Proceeds from entry fees, a charity auction, ticket sales, and other sources were donated to help children fighting diseases and children who were victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake.

    With the cooperation of others, we will continue to help provide support for children in need.

    As part of its CSR (corporate social responsibility) activities, Fields participated in this day for cleaning up all of Shibuya Ward, site of the Company's Head Office. Sponsored by the Ward government, it was held on Friday, April 26 this year, as April 28 was a Sunday.
    3 employee volunteers participated in the clean-up (the sponsor limited participation from each organization). The clean-up took place primarily in focus areas, such as around Shibuya Station.

    The Fields IR site placed first in 2 consecutive years in the emerging markets company IR site category of the "Gomez IR site comprehensive rankings 2013" of Morningstar Japan K.K.. The emerging markets category is for companies traded on the JASDAQ and Mothers markets. In the ranking for all publicly owned companies in Japan, Fields received a Bronze Medal for 2 consecutive years.
    Morningstar Japan K.K. judges IR sites provided by 3,502 listed domestic companies based on the ease of use for shareholders and investors and the amount of information provided. There are 4 categories: ease of use, amount of financial data, amount of corporate and management information, and aggressiveness and innovation concerning disclosure. In all, scores are calculated by evaluating 290 items selected from the standpoint of investors in order to obtain a comprehensive ranking of outstanding IR sites.

    Fields will continue with all-around fillout of its IR activity, seeking for stockholders and investors yet more useful information provision and communication venue creation.

    Fields and several group companies established the Ultraman Foundation in March 2011 to provide support for the recovery of areas devastated by the Great East Japan Earthquake. The foundation has been continuously extending assistance in the form of materials and encouragement to children affected by this disaster.
    Activities of the foundation provide support for many people in the damaged areas, with particular emphasis on children. Many programs have been conducted to bring happiness to these children, including Ultra Hero shows and the donation of a microbus.
    The foundation provided support, as in 2011, donating funds and microbuses to Fukushima prefecture, Miyagi prefecture and Iwate prefecture in March 2013. In addition, the foundation initiated the "HERO CARAVAN : For the light of children in 78 Places in Tohoku," wherein Tsuburaya heros visit 78 places in the region damaged by the earthquake to make children’s dreams come true.
    To maintain growth as a corporation and meet its social obligations, the Fields Group will in future make steady progress, one step at a time. We would like to thank everyone for their continued support.

      Carried out cleanup activities in Yoyogi Park in cooperation with Artnature Inc.

    We cleaned up Yoyogi Park in Shibuya, Tokyo, where our Head Office is located, in cooperation with Artnature Inc., as part of our CSR activities.
    About 55 volunteers from among the employees and families of both companies participated, and cleaned up Yoyogi Park, focusing on the area near the central plaza, while getting to know each other better.
    We will continue to collaborate with other companies on activities that contribute to the community and help preserve the environment.
