Question & Answer Session (Summary)

(May 1, 2014)

Q1.Has the consumption tax hike had a discernible effect on pachinko halls?

A1. Major pachinko halls seem to be testing out changes in lease amount of pachinko balls. Looking only at data for the first month since the tax hike shows no indication that sales and gross profit have been affected. At this point, we believe that there will not be a major impact.

Q2. What is the utilization status for pachinko/pachislot machines?

A2. Average utilization of pachinko machines was about 21,000 balls per day in the year ended March 31, 2013 and about 20,000 balls per day in the fiscal year ended March31, 2014. The rate is falling, but we release pachinko/pachislot machines with good utilization, and hope to offer machines that will give solid enjoyment to users.
Average utilization of pachislot machines was about 9,900 medal tokens per day in the year ended March 31, 2013 and about 9,700 medal tokens per day in the year ended March 31, 2014. Although falling slightly, it has been on the rise since 2014. We are working to consistently provide high-quality products.
