Fields Corporation held a financial presentation on the first half of the year ending March 31, 2014 in the Top of the Square “UTAGE” (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) on November 7, 2013 at 11:30 am.
This page provides an overview of the main Question & Answer Session (Summary) at the financial presentation

The market appears harsh, with some halls announcing that they will curb machine purchase costs, but our impression at this point is not overly negative.
Currently, some halls are replacing their pachinko/pachislot machines more frequently to attract customers, and we believe that there is a possibility that motivation to purchase machines could change.
There is a tendency in the current pachinko market for demand to focus on machines based on series with a known track record, so “CR TEKKEN” has not seen substantial sales figures.
For this reason, this model, which is the first title in the pachinko format, will be evaluated after it has been introduced.
A3. We will focus on building sales so that the greatest number of users can enjoy it.
A4. Average viewer ratings for “GINGA KIKOTAI: Majestic Prince,” the market evaluation, and our partners’ assessment of merchandising have been high overall, and we have a good feeling about its multi-media development going forward.
A5. We are taking steps to launch affiliated products with Mizuho Corp., but at this point we have no specific details.
Rather than IP allocation, we will offer IP based on agreements in line with efforts to build brands together with affiliated manufacturers.
We will continue to prioritize the creation and development of even more IP by our own company and in affiliation with partner companies to meet the expectations of pachinko/pachislot manufacturers.
A7. In the interactive media field, developments are aimed at launching a social game during this fiscal year.
A8. We have focused on selling broadcast content for “Ultraman,” primarily in Asia, where interest has been particularly strong, but currently in addition to this initiative, we are carrying out various measures together with affiliated companies in order to develop business, including merchandising.
A9. We consider “KstarsWonderland” as one of the platforms, and plan to attract fans and expand sales by promoting a wide range of K-pop artists.
We are currently releasing the pachinko machine “CR TEKKEN” and the pachislot machines “ULTRAMAN WARS” and “MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM.”
We cannot comment on individual forecasts for machines sold or sales prices, but “MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM,” which uses large LCD screens and high-quality graphics, is more costly to manufacture than previous pachislot machines. Despite this, we believe it is a title with great potential.
