Message from the New President

I would first like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to our shareholders and investors for their continued support and patronage, and to wish them lasting success and good health.

My name is Tetsuya Shigematsu, and I have been appointed as the President and COO of FIELDS CORPORATION as a successor to Takashi Oya (current Vice Chairman).

Over the past two decades or so since our founding, with an aim of realizing our corporate philosophy of giving the Greatest Leisure for All People, we have strived to provide products and services that enrich the hearts of people of the world. Furthermore, in order to promote business based on characters and other intellectual property(IP) that forms the basis of entertainment, for the last several years, we have acquired and created a vast amount of IP, and have worked to promote its cross-media development.
Although I find it bracing to assume the important responsibility of the office of president from April 1, by taking full advantage of these business foundations and by moving forward step-by-step with our sights set on the medium- and long-term future, I am confident that we can realize yet greater growth and development for both FIELDS CORPORATION and for the Fields Group.

I will do everything in my power, no matter how small, to meet your expectations, and humbly ask for the same guidance and good offices you showed my predecessor.
